Consat Telematics supports accessible travel with Hailo App launch on Ventura Buses in Melbourne

We are proud to support the launch of the Hailo app, now live across Ventura Bus Lines’ network in Melbourne. The new solution allows passengers to hail buses directly from their smartphones in real time, making public transportation more accessible and easier to navigate for everyone.

Designed to support passengers who may need additional assistance, including people with disabilities, seniors, and parents travelling with prams, Hailo enables riders to notify drivers in advance that they are waiting at a stop. Drivers receive the message instantly, helping ensure passengers are seen and assisted when the bus arrives.

Developed in collaboration with community organisations such as Guide Dogs Victoria, Cerebral Palsy Alliance, Blind Citizens Australia, and Vision Australia, the initiative reflects a shared commitment to improving accessibility in everyday mobility.

For Ventura and their passengers, the app creates a more predictable and confident travel experience, helping people move through the city with greater independence.
