Consat expands digital offering with GenAI framework for industrial applications

Consat is taking the next step in its digital strategy with a new GenAI framework for industrial applications. The framework helps customers work faster and smarter by making sense of their data – instantly.

“What used to take weeks – like navigating large document libraries or creating dashboards – now takes seconds,” says Vinay Dhar, Head of Digital at Consat Engineering.

Last year, Consat launched Consat NEXT, an industrial-grade platform for IoT and data-driven innovation. With the new GenAI framework, Consat continues to build on its long experience with data, automation and applied AI in manufacturing, transportation and telematics.

The framework combines Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agent-based architecture to automate repetitive tasks and surface insights from both structured and unstructured data. The first implementations are already running in real-world environments.

“We already support many of our customers with digitalisation projects,” says Dhar. “Working with complex data sets and making sense of them is something we’ve done for years. Now we’re using GenAI to take that a step further.”

“This isn’t about building something from scratch,” Dhar continues. “We already have tools in place to collect and manage industrial data. What GenAI adds is the ability to model that data, extract insights, and even trigger actions – automatically.”

Three use cases are already live:

• AssistAI for Support

Lets users ask natural-language questions across internal unstructured knowledge sources (e,.g, Use guides, emails, ppts, JIRA tickets and more) and get accurate answers instantly and reference to the relevant section in the knowledge source. With AI assist support, enterprises boost productivity – spend less time searching, more time helping customers.

• Dynamic Dashboard

An AgenticRAG framework that converts natural language questions into SQL queries and delivers real-time visualisations, enabling teams to analyse data independently, get instant insights, without relying on technical support. Decisions are made faster because data becomes truly self-service.

• AI–Augmented Agile Application Development

We combine the best of agile development with AI augmentation to dramatically speed up innovation and product development. In just a few days, our AI-powered framework helps us brainstorm, prototype, and validate concepts faster than traditional methods.
