Clinical Trial Consultants are moving to larger and tailor-made facilities!
We are growing out from our office and are moving from one historical building to another.
Since 2013 our head quarter has been located at Dag Hammarskjölds väg 13. We are now moving out from the beautiful coral-colored building that until 1998 was used as a prison, heading a couple of blocks down the road to Dag Hammarskjölds väg 10. The magnificent building “Oscar II” is suitable for both our office and clinic in Uppsala, which is also expanding. The new clinic is 500 m2, and contains up to 24 beds. We are of course keeping our First-In-Human clinic at the Akademiska University Hospital, our new place is located just across the road.

“Oscar II”, the construction of which was finished in 1901, was one of the premises of Royal Uplands artillery regiment. The building is located in Uppsala Science Park, within two minutes walking distance of the Medical Products Agency (MPA).
Our new facilities will not only house CTC but also Immuneed, a company specialised in whole blood loop assays. Over the last two years, CTC and Immuneed. have had a strong partnership. Our collaboration provides an opportunity for a candidate drug to be screened either for safety (cytokine release assessment and complement activity) and/or mode-of-action in a study conducted at a CTC clinic. We are happy to announce that Immuneed is moving with us to “Oscar II”, further strengthening our alliance.

CTC Clinical Trial Consultants AB is a full-service CRO with focus on clinical conduct. Our mission is to facilitate clinical and translational research by providing our customers with cost-effective advice, conduct and reporting of clinical trials. We have four different departments: Clinic, Clinical Operations, Pharmacovigilance and Biometrics, all supported by independent quality assurance management.
Our head office and Phase 1 units are located in Uppsala comprising 28 beds of which 12 are hospital beds in a first-in-human approved research unit whereas our two professional sites for multicenter studies (SMOs) are found in Uppsala and Linköping. We have our own subject database for recruitment of both healthy volunteers and special patient populations.
CTC was founded in 2011 and has successfully conducted over 200 industry sponsored clinical trials for start-up companies as well as for international pharmaceutical companies and CROs. Our track record includes first-in-human, food effect, drug interaction, bioequivalence, bioavaliability and biosimilar studies, new drug delivery systems, medical device, PET/MR, QT and Phase IIa studies.
