Condense water accumulated and trapped in Aircraft leads to excess weight with increased fuel burn and CO2 emissions as a result. For a typical A320/B737 family aircraft 200-300kg water could be trapped leading to >22 tonne additional fuel burn and >66 tonne CO2 emissions per year.
An aircraft fuselage is wet from accumulated and trapped moisture due to fuselage condensation, causing excess weight resulting in higher fuel consumption and extra emissions of greenhouse gases (read: more than required).
