Dabico FMT signs major seaport contract with Port Tampa Bay to deliver three (3) mobile drive-type passenger boarding bridges.

(Trelleborg, Sweden; 26 October 2023) — Dabico FMT is proud to announce the signing of a major seaport contract with Port Tampa Bay as the company expands its presence in the North American seaport market. This partnership combines the strengths of the leadership team across Dabico, A-Bridge, and FMT to deliver state-of-the-art seaport solutions to Port Tampa Bay.

Uniting their vast knowledge and expertise to introduce cutting-edge seaport solutions under the aegis of Dabico FMT, globally, the company aims to reshape the landscape of seaport infrastructure in the region. Dabico FMT will leverage its industry leading IP as well as decades of experience stemming from its work as a manufacturer and its extensive install across the globe to deliver best-in-class solutions with unparalleled customer service.

This undertaking involves the design and supply of three mobile drive-type seaport passenger boarding bridges, strategically slated for installation at Terminal 2 and Terminal 6 within Port Tampa Bay. These new bridges represent a remarkable addition to FMT's existing portfolio, which includes a patented seaport gangway already in operation at Terminal 3.

The project will unfold through the seamless collaboration between FMT and its sister company, A-Bridge, harnessing the collective expertise of the Dabico Group. The ambitious venture is set to be completed in less than 14 months, with an anticipated finish line before the end of 2024.
