BMW Northern Europe and DANX mark ten years of automotive logistics partnership
DANX and BMW Northern Europe AB have marked ten years of collaboration. Over the past decade, the partnership has broadened beyond traditional spare parts logistics while adapting to changing operational requirements across automotive logistics.
Staffanstorp, Sweden, 31 August 2026: The collaboration today supports a broad range of automotive logistics needs, including BMW Original Parts and Accessories, Complete Wheels and Complete Motorcycles. In the Nordic automotive aftermarket, reliability and flexibility are important to keep service operations running effectively. DANX and BMW Northern Europe have worked together over time to adjust the logistics set-up as requirements have changed.
“What has characterised our cooperation with DANX over the years is their ability to adapt as our requirements have changed dynamically throughout the last 10 years. Close dialogue, reliability and accountability are important to our operations, and the partnership has allowed us to continuously improve the logistics set-up towards our service partners together,” says Wiktor Wasilewski, Manager Parts Logistics at BMW Northern Europe AB.
DANX also works directly with BMW dealers and workshops across the service network, coordinating deliveries and day-to-day logistics with the receiving sites.
BMW Northern Europe’s logistics operation has also received repeated recognition from BMW globally for its quality performance. Most recently, BMW Northern Europe’s distribution centre in Staffanstorp received BMW’s internal Global Quality Award for Quality Consistency, ranking number one globally among large-size warehouses for operational excellence, reflecting the consistently high-quality service to its service partners. It marks the second consecutive year that the distribution centre has received an internal Quality Award.
The award recognises the performance of BMW Northern Europe’s operation, with DANX being one of several partners involved in supporting its logistics activities.
The ten-year collaboration was marked at an event in southern Sweden on 26 August, bringing together representatives from BMW Northern Europe, DANX and other partners involved in the operation.
“Ten years is a significant milestone, but the real value of a long-term partnership is that it never stands still. Customer requirements change, operations develop and the logistics solution must adapt with them. That continuous dialogue has been a central part of our collaboration with BMW Northern Europe from the start,” says Thomas Johnsson, Head of Sales at DANX in Sweden.
