Bewerbungsphase für das ZIA-Innovationsradar startet heute

Der Zentrale Immobilien Ausschuss (ZIA), der Spitzenverband der Immobilienwirtschaft, und Aroundtown, eines der größten Immobilienunternehmen Europas, setzen sich gemeinsam für die Förderung von Innovationen in der Immobilienwirtschaft ein und suchen beim diesjährigen ZIA-Innovationsradar nach der „Innovation of the Year“. Aroundtown übernimmt die Schirmherrschaft des diesjährigen Innovationsradars, für das sich Start-ups, Projektteams und Unternehmen ab sofort unter www.zia-innovationsradar.de bewerben können.

Seit 2021 sucht das ZIA-Innovationsradar nach zukunftsorientierten Lösungen für die Immobilienbranche und verleiht den Ideen Sichtbarkeit. Auch Aroundtown engagiert sich seit vielen Jahren für die Förderung innovativer Ideen im Immobilienbereich und unterstützt deren praktische Umsetzung, insbesondere mit dem PropTech-Accelerator ATechX. Mit dem diesjährigen Innovationsradar setzen der ZIA und Aroundtown gemeinsam Impulse, um zukunftsweisende Ansätze entlang der gesamten Wertschöpfungskette in den Fokus zu rücken und den Dialog in der Immobilienwirtschaft zu fördern.

Im Fokus des ZIA-Innovationsradars stehen zukunftsfähige Lösungen für die Immobilien- und Bauwirtschaft, die einen nachhaltigen Beitrag zur Weiterentwicklung der Branche leisten. Start-ups, Projektteams und Unternehmen können sich ab sofort bis zum 11. März 2026 bewerben. Die Auszeichnung der Gewinnerinnen und Gewinner findet erstmals auf dem Tag der Immobilienwirtschaft (TDI) des ZIA am 19. Mai 2026 statt – vor rund 2.000 Teilnehmenden aus Wirtschaft, Politik und Gesellschaft.

Mit dem Innovationsradar 2.0 integriert der ZIA den bisherigen „PropTech of the Year“-Award und erweitert das Format um die Perspektive der Bauwirtschaft. In den Kategorien Real Estate, Design & Build und PropTech werden herausragende Lösungen als „Innovation of the Year“ ausgezeichnet.

Eine Jury aus dem ZIA Innovation Think Tank, der in diesem Jahr auch Aroundtown angehört, sichtet für das Innovationsradar mehr als 100 Bewerbungen und bewertet diese nach klar definierten Kriterien wie Innovationsgrad, Skalierbarkeit und Nachhaltigkeit.

Jetzt bewerben: offen, kostenfrei und branchenweit

Die Bewerbung für das ZIA-Innovationsradar ist kostenlos und steht ZIA-Mitgliedern ebenso wie Nicht-Mitgliedern offen. Organisationen können bis zu drei Bewerbungen einreichen und müssen dabei angeben, für welche der folgenden Kategorien sie sich bewerben:

• Real Estate: Innovationen mit Bezug zu den Lebenszyklusphasen Finanzieren, Vermarkten, Transaktion oder Bewirtschaftung
• Design & Build: Innovationen mit Bezug zu den Lebenszyklusphasen Planung, Bauen, Sanieren oder Projektentwicklung
• PropTech: Gründungsjahr 2015 oder später; digitales bzw. technologiebasiertes Produkt und/oder innovatives Geschäftsmodell; das Gründerteam hält mehr als 50 % der Unternehmensanteile

Während des Bewerbungsprozesses wird gezielt geprüft, wie innovativ ein Projekt ist und wie gut es in der Praxis wirkt. Alle Bewerbungen, die die formalen Anforderungen erfüllen, werden ins ZIA-Innovationsradar aufgenommen. Die drei überzeugendsten Einreichungen erhalten den Titel „Innovation of the Year“.

Application phase for the ZIA Innovation Radar starts today

The German Property Federation (ZIA), the leading association for the real estate industry, and Aroundtown, one of Europe's largest real estate companies, are working together to jointly promote innovation in the real estate industry and identify the “Innovation of the Year” at this year’s ZIA Innovation Radar. Aroundtown becomes patron of this year’s Innovation Radar, for which start-ups, project teams and companies can now apply at www.zia-innovationsradar.de.

Since 2021, the ZIA Innovation Radar has been searching for future-oriented solutions for the real estate industry and giving visibility to ideas. Aroundtown has also been committed to promoting innovative ideas in the real estate sector for many years and supports their practical implementation, in particular with the PropTech accelerator ATechX. With this year's Innovation Radar, ZIA and Aroundtown are jointly providing impetus to focus on forward-looking approaches along the entire value chain and promote dialogue in the real estate industry.

The ZIA Innovation Radar focuses on future-proof solutions for the real estate and construction industry that make a sustainable contribution to the further development of the sector. Start-ups, project teams and companies can apply now until March 11^th 2026. The winners will be honoured for the first time at the ZIA's Real Estate Industry Day (TDI) on May 19^th 2026 – in front of around 2,000 participants from business, politics and society.

With Innovation Radar 2.0, the ZIA is integrating the previous “PropTech of the Year” award and expanding the format to include the perspective of the construction industry. Outstanding solutions will be honoured as “Innovation of the Year” in the categories Real Estate, Design & Build and PropTech.

A jury from the ZIA Innovation Think Tank, which this year also includes Aroundtown, will review more than 100 applications for the Innovation Radar and evaluate them according to clearly defined criteria such as degree of innovation, scalability and sustainability.

Apply now: open, free of charge and industry-wide

Applying for the ZIA Innovation Radar is free of charge and open to both ZIA members and non-members. Organisations can submit up to three applications and must specify which of the following categories they are applying for:

• Real Estate: Innovations related to the life cycle phases of financing, marketing, transaction or management
• Design & Build: Innovations related to the life cycle phases of planning, construction, renovation or project development
• PropTech: Founded in 2015 or later; digital or technology-based product and/or innovative business model; the founding team holds more than 50% of the company shares

During the application process, the innovativeness of a project and its effectiveness in practice are specifically examined. All applications that meet the formal requirements are included in the ZIA Innovation Radar. The three most convincing submissions receive the title “Innovation of the Year”.
