Bogner appoints new supervisory board members

The sports fashion manufacturer Willy Bogner GmbH & Co. KGaA has appointed two new members to its supervisory board. Prof. Klaus Volk, a lawyer from Munich, has been appointed as the new Chairman of the supervisory board. Florinda Bogner, daughter of Willy Bogner and minority shareholder of the company, also joins the supervisory board. The previous Chairman of the supervisory board, Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Reitzle, had resigned from his office, along with seats on the supervisory board of three other companies. Prof. Dr. Alexander Liegl also decided to step down from the supervisory board at the same time.

Willy Bogner said: “With Klaus Volk, Bogner has gained an extremely experienced leader to chair the supervisory board. He has a strong connection to my family and enjoys our full confidence. I am particularly pleased that my daughter Florinda has decided to assume responsibility on the supervisory board. She represents the fresh, young Bogner and will join me in representing the tradition of the brand and the interests of our family. I would like to thank Wolfgang Reitzle and Alexander Liegl very much for their professional advice and constructive support. They have played a major role in the development of the company during a challenging phase.”
