New Corporate Channel on YouTube and Flickr

DENTSPLY Friadent's Videos and Images Available on the Social Media Platforms.

Mannheim, June 06, 2012 – Together with its XiVE Facebook page, DENTSPLY Friadent is taking a further step into social media: videos and images of the company can now also be found on the YouTube and Flickr platforms.

YouTube is the video portal for superlatives: 48 hours of video material is uploaded per minute and over two billion videos are viewed every day on the American video platform. DENTSPLY Friadent is there now, too, with its own channel, "DENTSPLYFriadentClip". Videos are available on this channel, giving an informative insight into a variety of treatment methods. In addition, there are informative animations about the implant systems and technologies on the channel, along with films of events, such as the World Symposium in Hamburg. Meanwhile, DENTSPLY Friadent is also on Flickr. The photo platform has over 40 million registered users and over six billion uploaded images. These images can be viewed, commented on and shared with other users on Flickr. The Flickr platform has the advantage that the images can be conveniently viewed as a slideshow. In addition, sharing and recommending images is definitely easier than on a conventional website. So far, we have uploaded a selection of the best images of the Symposium on our Flickr channel for viewing, as well as images from the Jubilee brochure for the celebration of ANKYLOS' 25 Jubilee.
