Press release -
Admin By Request Strengthens Partnership with Audi F1 Driver Nico Hulkenberg
Full speed ahead for the international software company, which will embark on another season in 2026 with German Formula 1 driver and podium finisher, Nico Hulkenberg.
Admin By Request first entered the Formula 1 paddock in 2023, and the company will once again be present in one of the sport’s biggest arenas next season. The global software company, headquartered in Aalborg, Denmark, with offices in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Thailand, Singapore and beyond, is continuing its partnership with Formula 1 driver Nico Hulkenberg. The alliance was launched in 2025 and is now being strengthened as the German takes on a new role as a works driver for one of the paddock’s newest teams, Audi Revolut F1 Team.
“We are incredibly excited to renew the partnership and continue the journey with Nico Hulkenberg and his team. Formula 1 is the perfect place for Admin By Request, as it gives us massive exposure to a highly relevant audience and has enabled us to pursue and capitalise on exciting opportunities. At the same time, Nico Hulkenberg is a fantastic ambassador who has helped add real colour and character to our business and brand. Naturally, the partnership has also delivered experiences that are reserved for very few people in the world,” says Lars Sneftrup Pedersen, CEO of Admin By Request.
"I am really looking forward to continue my partnership with Admin By Request and to carry on my role as a global ambassador for the company. Formula 1 is built on innovation, data and precision, and without robust, reliable technology it is impossible to compete at the very highest level. That is why the parallels between motorsport and cybersecurity are so strong – in both worlds, success depends on control, accuracy and absolute trust in systems that must perform flawlessly under extreme pressure. I am proud to have Admin By Request continuing to support me and look forward to pushing ahead together, building on the strong foundation we have already established," says Nico Hulkenberg.
Formula 1 Meets Cybersecurity
The 2025 partnership between Nico Hulkenberg and Admin By Request delivered several highlights, not least the German’s impressive podium finish at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone in June – Sauber’s first podium result in more than a decade. Back in 2022, the Audi Group announced its acquisition of Sauber Motorsport, and from 2026 the team will compete as Audi Revolut F1 Team, with Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto as the factory team’s two drivers. The 2026 season will also introduce the biggest regulatory overhaul in Formula 1 since 2014. Among other changes, half of a Formula 1 car’s power will now come from electric energy, requiring entirely new power units for all teams.
“As software developers, innovation is in our DNA, which is why we are thrilled to be part of the technological evolution that defines Formula 1 – something we will feel particularly strongly in the 2026 season. With new cars and new engines, every team and manufacturer is starting with a clean slate, and we are excited to see what Nico and the rest of the Audi team can achieve,” adds Lars Sneftrup Pedersen.
Fans, Visibility and Global Engagement
As part of the renewed collaboration, the Admin By Request logo will once again be visible on the German driver’s helmet and race suit throughout the season. However, the partnership extends well beyond the racetrack; motorsport fans can follow his Formula 1 season via Admin By Request’s channels on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X, where content, images, giveaways, and race updates will be shared throughout the year.
The 2026 Formula 1 World Championship will consist of 22 rounds and gets underway with the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne on 8 March. The season finale will take place in Abu Dhabi on 6 December.
