Kevin Magnussen extend collaboration with Cloud Factory

The Danish Formula 1 driver strengthens partnership with the fast-growing European distributor of cloud services.

Ahead of the Chinese Grand Prix at Shanghai International Circuit, Kevin Magnussen announces an extension of the partnership with the European distributor of cloud services, Cloud Factory. The rapidly growing tech company based in Varde has achieved success by specializing in Microsoft's cloud range as well as a wide range of cybersecurity products from Acronis and other brands, delivered through resellers in Europe. The collaboration with the Danish Formula 1 driver, which started in 2022, is now entering its third year. Cloud Factory will be visible on Kevin Magnussen's helmet from the Chinese Grand Prix and throughout the 2024 season.

"The idea of entering a partnership with Kevin Magnussen was based on a desire to increase awareness of our company internationally and strengthen our relationships through unique and inspiring experiences on the Formula 1 circuits, and that has succeeded. We have benefited greatly from our commitment, which has opened up new markets and generated valuable customers – and that is why we felt it quite natural to continue our partnership with Kevin. Cloud Factory is a dynamic, creative, and fast-growing company in a tough market, which is a good match for what is happening in Formula 1 these years. We look forward to the many new experiences the collaboration will bring, and we look forward to an exciting season," say the founders of Cloud Factory, Mark Ringe Ibsen and Jacob Schaumann Schmidt.

"I am extremely happy and proud to extend the collaboration with Cloud Factory, with whom I have already had a lot of cool experiences over the past two seasons. The tech industry is an exciting and also very competitive industry driven by development and dedicated people, and that is something I can relate to. It's fantastic that the activities in my sport can contribute to Cloud Factory’s journey, and I look forward to continuing the partnership," says Kevin Magnussen.

Cloud Factory currently runs companies in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and the Netherlands. The company has over 50 employees, and more than 400 resellers are affiliated. Turnover is again growing this year by approximately 60 percent and is approaching 300 million Danish kroner. After the recently announced agreement with American Riverside Acceleration Capital, offices are expected to open in new countries in 2024 and 2025.
