Premium comfort features and new design: ARION 6 series from CLAAS debuts at Agritechnica 2025

CLAAS is presenting the new ARION 6 series with an emotional design and new comfort features at Agritechnica. The exclusive comfort features include premium driver's seats with massage function, a high-end multimedia system with wireless smartphone connection and Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, as well as a new lighting concept. The top-of-the-range ARION 6.190 CMATIC model will initially be introduced and offered alongside the ARION 660 CMATIC at the start of the new model series in 2026.

Impressive technology in a new design: The ARION 6 CMATIC with powerful six-cylinder engine, CMATIC continuously variable transmission from CLAAS with wheel loader mode and digital connection to CLAAS connect.

CLAAS will launch the new ARION 6 CMATIC in 2026 alongside the ARION 600 CMATIC. In technical terms, the tractor in the compact six-cylinder class is based on the mature and popular current series, whose flagship ARION 660 CMATIC in 2024 was not only a finalist in the Tractor of the Year, but has also been the best-selling model in the CLAAS tractor range for several years in a row. In the DLG PowerMix, the ARION 660 CMATIC impressed in 2024 with strong performance values and economical consumption - and significantly lower consumption values compared to the PowerMix average value for road transport work (profi 12/2024).

Smart power train for maximum performance and driver relief
The ARION 6.190 CMATIC is powered by a smooth-running 6.8-litre six-cylinder engine with up to 205 hp maximum output with CPM and a maximum torque of 849 Nm at 1,500 rpm. The additional power provided by CLAAS POWER MANAGEMENT (CPM) is now gradually activated in the new ARION 6.190 CMATIC from 185 to 205 hp and thus in line with demand, which increases effectiveness and efficiency in numerous tasks - for example during transport work and work with PTO-driven devices or implements with hydraulic drives or continuous pick-ups.

The CMATIC gearbox developed and built by CLAAS Industrietechnik is characterised by highly efficient power train management. In addition to first-class load reactivity and tuning of engine characteristics and transmission ratio, it has functions such as the automatic trailer stretch brake and the unique wheel loader mode for front loader work. The result: more performance in the field and on the road, more safety during transport work and full traction even when working with front loaders. The long wheelbase and balanced weight distribution ensure uncompromising power transmission to the ground and unrestricted work, even with heavy attachments.

The CEMOS operator assistance system is also available as an option for the ARION 6 CMATIC. Based on self-learning algorithms, it optimises area output and efficiency during field work in dialogue with the operator and helps with the correct ballasting and tyre pressure.

Always optimally tuned, whether in the field, during front loader work or on the road: The CMATIC continuously variable transmission with high-end vehicle drive controller, automatic trailer brake and wheel loader mode.
Fatigue-free working: Comfortable suspension concept and quiet cab

Numerous comfort features such as the sprung front axle and the quiet, fully suspended cab of the ARION 6 CMATIC enable stress- and fatigue-free working, even on long days. The controls are clearly organised, and with the CMOTION multifunction control lever you have eight freely assignable function keys as well as operation of the rear linkage and headland management CSM in one hand - without having to reach around.

New premium driver's seats with massage function, semi-active suspension and seat climate control are available for the ARION 6 CMATIC for the first time. On long working days with long periods of time spent in the driver's seat - for example during tillage or sowing - the massage function supports the operator's well-being and concentration, reduces body tension and thus promotes health. In addition, a new high-end multimedia system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and DAB+ is available for the ARION 6 CMATIC. The setting and monitoring of parameters in areas such as hydraulics, lifting units, ISOBUS-UT or CEMOS is intuitive and clearly organised on the integrated CEBIS terminal in the right-hand armrest. Access and input is either via the touch display or rotary/push switch.

In the cabin, features such as a driver's seat with massage function or the high-end multimedia system enable long, fatigue-free working days.

With the ARION 6.190 CMATIC, CLAAS is introducing the AUTO CSM function on the GPS PILOT CEMIS 1200 as a new feature. This automatically triggers the individually programmable CSM headland management sequences when entering or leaving the headland. This achieves a new level of automation and thus relief for the operator.

For precise track guidance with the GPS PILOT CEMIS 1200 as an intuitive steering terminal, the optimum reference lines can be planned in advance in CLAAS connect using the field boundaries and then used and shared with just a few clicks. The new Auto RefLine function automatically recognises the appropriate or logical reference track based on the position and direction of travel of the vehicle, and automatically switches between different reference tracks. This means, for example, that the operator does not have to switch manually when changing to headland reference tracks or when working out wedges with a different reference track - making work much easier.

During field work, the optional dynamic steering provides relief for the operator. From one steering stop to the next, the number of steering wheel turns is roughly halved - a noticeable relief, especially when making tight turning manoeuvres at the headland.

What's more, a new lighting concept with up to 20 LED headlamps and new step lighting on the cab access makes night into day when required and makes getting on and off the tractor in dark environments a safe affair.

From machine management to precision farming: Thanks to CLAAS connect, the ARION 6 CMATIC also offers numerous possibilities for completing work more easily and efficiently and for automatically documenting it.

From machine management to Precision Farming: digitally networked in CLAAS connect
From machine configuration, purchase processing, access to product documentation and the lubricant guide to maintenance planning and documentation through to cross-manufacturer fleet management, application maps and other smart farming applications: Depending on the licence, CLAAS connect also enables comprehensive networking for the new ARION 6 with automated documentation and access from the office or from a mobile device while on the move. Basic services such as machine position, machine performance data, lubricant advisor and direct access to the CLAAS Parts Shop for ordering suitable wear and spare parts can be significantly expanded with Farm connect, Fleet connect and Field connect licences:

  • Clear order management: orders are conveniently created in CLAAS connect and called up on the CEMIS 1200. Orders can be documented and managed directly on the machine.
  • Automatic documentation with CLAAS connect: Automatic documentation of field work is now also possible for CLAAS tractors without creating jobs for a complete database.
  • Real-time information: Machine position and status as well as current machine data, settings and performance data can be viewed on the move from anywhere. This enables convenient navigation to the machine's operating location, for example. In addition, CLAAS connect informs the user how long the work in the field is expected to take when processing jobs - regardless of how many machines are currently working in the field.
  • Analyse and optimise: Detailed analyses enable optimisations and comparisons between different identical machines in the vehicle fleet - particularly important for contractors and large farms.

If a CLAAS connect ID already exists on the farm, the ARION 6.190 CMATIC is simply added to the existing machine fleet and is then initially networked with a Machine connect licence free of charge for a period of 5 years. If the farm does not yet have a CLAAS connect ID, this can be created when the tractor is purchased.
