19-004-SO Alert Decision Note Conflict & Insecurity Crisis Burkina Faso (Fund Not Activated)
Decision: Not to activate the DERF to respond to the conflict and insecurity crisis in Burkina Faso, as per Alert Decision note.
Reason: An activation of the DERF would not be able to meet the criteria of financing timely humanitarian response which for the DERF is defined as humanitarian response within 3 months of the onset of the crisis. For this reason a decision is made not to activate the DERF in response to the submitted crisis alert.
