Decision: Not to activate the DERF to respond to the experienced humanitarian crisis in parts of Uvira and Fizi districts of South Kivu province, DRC Reason: Beyond the alerting organisation no other Danish CSO without a separate humanitarian funding agreement with Danida is known to CISU to be active in South Kivu where the crisis-affected localities is localized to four villages within the two districts of Uvira and Fizi. It is assessed as too narrow a Danish resource base upon which to activate the DERF.
