Rabat - Ukraine expressed on Monday its support for the autonomy plan, presented by Morocco in 2007, as a "serious and credible" basis for the "successful" settlement of the Sahara issue.
The Moroccan Autonomy Plan for the Sahara enjoys the unequivocal support of important and influential UN Member States, which should push more countries to follow this virtuous dynamic.
The Government of Spain issued on 18 March 2022 a statement where it pledged to guarantee "the sovereignty and territorial integrity" of Morocco in the framework of "the new stage" started between the two countries.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad issued on 18 March 2022 a statement where it highly appreciates Spain's positive positions and constructive commitments on the issue of the Moroccan Sahara, contained in the message addressed to His Majesty King Mohammed VI by the President of the Spanish Government, H.E.
