MK Illumination targets fresh growth as turnover hits record levels in 2013

Specialist conceptual lighting provider MK Illumination has continued to weather the challengingeconomic climate by posting record turnover figures for another successive year.The company, which is based in Innsbruck, Austria but is represented in 26 countriesworldwide, has continued to defy the difficulties posed by the global financial crisis by recordinggrowth in turnover of between five and seven percent (%).MK Illumination’s success has been driven by its ability to adopt a global outlook while drawingon the local knowledge of its subsidiaries to deliver the most appropriate products and servicesto its clients.Over the past 12 months the company has also expanded its production facility in Slovakia from6,000 to 9,000m2. This has enabled MK Illumination to accommodate growing demand forits Limited Edition, a collection of large display features which are handcrafted by MK’s skilledemployees and customised according to customer requirements.MK Illumination CEO Klaus Mark, says: “The fact that we adopt an individual approach andprovide great flexibility to our customers has contributed to our success.
