Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds to play NorthSide

The Australian rocker will play NorthSide alongside Fun., The Eclectic Moniker, and When Saints Go Machine. In addition, NorthSide is expanding and will add a third stage.

Two weeks ago, the first five acts were announced for the 2013 addition of NorthSide in Denmark, and now we are ready to add four more great names to the program.

Nick Cave has together with The Bad Seeds been synonymous with dark and uncompromising rock since the early '80s. Nevertheless, the Australian Renaissance Man has managed to move from cult status to legend status with albums like "Murder Ballads" and "The Boatman's Call", and expectations for the album "Push The Sky Away" are obviously extremely high. So we are very proud to be able to announce author, actor, and musician Nick Cave with his band The Bad Seeds for NorthSide this summer.
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds will play at NorthSide on Saturday the 15th June.

The American trio Fun. is one of this year’s biggest success stories, because of the hit "We Are Young", which has sold more than 5 million copies in the U.S. alone. The title track from the breakthrough album "Some Nights" has also been a big hit for the band, and it's worth mentioning that the band did not just call themselves Fun. for the hell of it, which they recently proved at an engaging and highly entertaining concert at Store Vega in Copenhagen.
Fun. will play at NorthSide on Sunday the 16th June.

The Eclectic Moniker has really made a complicated name for themselves with the hit "Easter Island", which will guarantee a spike in your body’s temperature on even the coldest days. The group has successfully added a lot of joy and exotic rhythms to the Danish music scene with material from their debut album, which was evident last week when their tremendous show saved the accident prone Danish GAFFA Awards.
The Eclectic Moniker will play at NorthSide on Friday the 14 June.

There were many who were sad, when When Saints Go Machine were forced to cancel their concert at NorthSide earlier this year. But fortunately, we managed to get a new deal with the band, which has gained both praise and awards for their latest album "Konkylie", and it is a pleasure to be able to present them at NorthSide next year.
When Saints Go Machine will play at NorthSide on Saturday the 15th June.

In addition to the four new acts we can also announce that next year NorthSide will add a third stage to the festival grounds. The new tent scene will accommodate 4,000 guests who’ll primarily be able to experience new international acts and Danish acts. The new tent will be named during the course of 2013.

The list of announced acts for NorthSide 2013 are as follows: Arctic Monkeys, Band of Horses, The Eclectic Moniker, The Flaming Lips, Fun., Nephew, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Trentemøller, and When Saints Go Machine.
