BaseCamp Student Nordics welcomes new Managing Director – Kristina Olsen

BaseCamp Group is very pleased to announce that Kristina Olsen has agreed to join its European team as Managing Director for the Nordic Region. BaseCamp Student has a long held ambition to grow its portfolio outside of Denmark and Kristina will lead that change.

BaseCamp operates 4 properties in Copenhagen including the multi-award winning BaseCamp Lyngby, and has two under construction in Aarhus and Malmo (Sweden), Kristina will start 1st December with BaseCamp.

Justin Hamer, BaseCamp’s COO commented – ”We are absolutely thrilled to have someone with the real estate knowledge and experience of Kristina join the senior executive team of BaseCamp. Her leadership skills are self-evident and we believe that she will be instrumental in helping BaseCamp meet its strategic goals in territories where BaseCamp is currently expanding. We look forward to welcoming Kristina on board in December.”

Kristina Olsen has been part of the Executive team at Bonava for the last 5 years and has over 25 years experience in the property market including 16 years of experience in management roles across the Nordic region.

Kristina will be taking over with BaseCamp Student in December 2021 and commented - ”I am very proud to be joining BaseCamp. I immediately fell in love with the business concept along with its astonishing properties across Europe. I very much look forward to fulfilling the ambitious goals for BaseCamp Nordics as well as helping to accelerate the overall growth of BaseCamp Group.”
