TCL Europe reinforce the smart home appliance business and appoints Ying CAI as Product Marketing Manager for major and small domestic appliances (MDA & SDA ) for Europe.

Paris, June 28 2021: TCL Electronics, one of the dominant players in the global TV industry and a leading consumer electronics company today announces an appointment: Ying Cai is appointed as Go To Market (GTM) & Product Marketing Manager for MDA & SDA for TCL Europe, after almost 8 years’ experience in product development and marketing in consumer electronics and MDA in European market. Located in Paris, her role is to lead TCL’s MDA & SDA strategy at both product and CSR levels.

Ying Cai, holding an European career and international skills
Graduated from IÉSEG School of Management, Ying Cai started working at Haier Europe, where she was European product manager for consumer electronics. She then continued at Haier Europe as Product Manager in White Goods (Washing Free Standing & Built In) for French market before joining the company TCL Europe as GTM & Product Marketing Manager for MDA&SDA.

MDA & SDA, a new key business for TCL Europe
Although TCL is mostly known as a television brand, TCL started since years to sell range of white goods across the world. For the European market, TCL just launched earlier this year in April, several models of refrigerators, washing machines, air purifiers and robot vacuum cleaners. With the company’s mission, which is making life intelligent with innovative technology, TCL Europe’s strategy is twofold:

First, launching smart home appliances in the European market. TCL is investing in two main categories, namely the white good products and the smart connected appliances.

Then, building a cross-platform smart home system to connect all TCL’s various IOT smart home products together. This will make consumers’ life faster, more efficient, and more intelligent.

TCL’s ambition is to provide growing line-up of home comfort products, to help people achieve an ideal home environment within an integrated, fully connected ecosystem.
