DJ mastermind Armin van Buuren to play Magicbox

The five-time winner of the title as the world's best DJ will be joined by Meduza, Hayden James and Shapov.

No Tinderbox without Magicbox, and everything is set for another massive party in 2020, when some of the biggest EDM names of our time take over the DJ stage in Odense.

He is one of the true EDM pioneers and voted as the world's best DJ five times, and now the phenomenal Dutch DJ and producer, Armin van Buuren, will conquer the Magicbox stage in Tusindaarsskoven. The impressive string of productions is endless. Earlier this year, van Buuren released the long-awaited album "Balance", and with hits like "Blah Blah Blah" and "Turn It Up", which in total have been streamed more than 200 million times, the Dutchman demonstrates, why he is one of the best DJs of all time. But typical of van Buuren is the fact that he challenges his own comfort zone, leading to massive hits like "This Is What It Feels Like", a track that goes far beyond the boundaries of the trance universe. These electronic strokes of genius derive from perfectionism and that is exactly why experiencing Armin van Buuren on stage must be on the bucket list of any EDM music lover.

Earlier this year Italian DJ trio Meduza kicked in the door of the international music scene with the release of their smash hit "Piece Of Your Heart" earlier this year. The single peaked at number two on the official UK Top 20 and topped the Billboards Dance Club Songs hit list. The entire industry has its eyes fixed on Meduza, who look destined to be a ground-breaking addition to the EDM music landscape.

2019 has been an incredible year for Hayden James and we are absolutely thrilled to welcome the Australian champion of summer vibes and Ibiza house to Magicbox. In June, he released the album "Between Us", which has been streamed more than 500 million times to date. James is known for captivating his audience with a strategically well-composed set, offering everything from calypso rhythms to velvet-smooth and dance-friendly house.

With his unique and progressive sound, Russian DJ and producer Shapov's international DJ career has taken off with an incredible pace. Shapov, who is known for his dynamic live sets and euphoric universe, was signed in 2013 by Axwell (Swedish House Mafia) to the legendary Axtone Records. Together they released the massive hit "Belong" in 2016 and his career has since included collaborations with, among others, Armin Van Buuren on the EP trilogy "The Last Dancer", "Our Origin" and "La Résistance De L'amour".
Shapov plays Thursday, June 25^th.
