Launch of JALAS® SpOc – Certified occupational shoes for uniformed personnel, now in leather
Leksand, Sweden – Ejendals AB introduces new models of JALAS® SpOc occupational shoes that combine superior comfort, slip resistance, and durability – specially designed for uniformed personnel in service industries where protective footwear is not required, but where stress on feet and joints is high.
Comfort and function in every step
The SpOc shoes have been developed with a focus on comfort, stability, and safety for work on slippery floors and during prolonged standing or walking. The upper is made of soft, water-repellent full-grain leather that withstands outdoor use and spills. The midcut models feature extra padding around the ankle for enhanced comfort in colder environments.
Four models – two heights, two lacing systems
- JALAS® SpOc 5542 – Low model, laces
- JALAS® SpOc 5552 – Low model, BOA® Fit System
- JALAS® SpOc 5572 – Midcut model, laces
- JALAS® SpOc 5582 – Midcut model, BOA® Fit System
The midsole is made of 50% bio-based EVA from sugarcane, while the shaft textile contains 32% recycled polyamide. All models are equipped with high-friction nitrile rubber outsoles and Poron® XRD® cushioning that absorbs up to 90% of impact energy at the heel and forefoot.
Applications
Uniformed personnel in, for example, taxi, bus, railway, postal services, as well as staff in retail, office, security, and HoReCa.
