Launch of TEGERA® UNIFORM Gloves – Needle Protection for Law Enforcement and Security

Ejendals AB introduces its latest innovation in hand protection – the TEGERA® UNIFORM 9078 and 9079 gloves, specially developed for personnel in law enforcement and security. These gloves are certified for hypodermic needle resistance according to ASTM F2878 and protect against punctures from 25-gauge needles – a critical feature in environments where syringes pose a risk.

Certified Needle Puncture Resistance

TEGERA® UNIFORM gloves feature our exclusive Acusthan™ needle protection technology, offering high performance and comfort. The 9078 model withstands up to 10 Newtons of force at the fingertips and reinforced palm area, while the 9079 model withstands 10 N at the fingertips and 7 N in the palm.

All-Around Finger Protection

Unlike many needle-resistant gloves, Acusthan™ provides 360-degree protection at the fingertips, thanks to multiple layers of para-aramid fiber. Model 9078 is designed for high-risk street work and features three layers at the fingertips and palm reinforcement. Model 9079 is for controlled environments, with three layers at the fingertips and two in the palm.

Durable and Functional

Both gloves are made with high-quality goatskin that can be cleaned using alcohol gel without losing colour or shape. They include touchscreen-compatible fingertips and comfortable fits tailored for long shifts. The 9078 model includes a secure hook-and-loop cuff with a grip strip, while the 9079 has a short cuff and pull tab.
