Alex Jones pictured with her Elephant Parade creation at BBC studio

Alex Jones, presenter of BBC’s The One Show, yesterday posed alongside her elephant 'Spirit' at BBC in London, which she designed for the Elephant Parade national tour alongside Mercy Delta. Her elephant will join the rest of the herd at intu Trafford Centre in Manchester on 19th August as part of a 14-stop national tour of the UK.

The Elephant Parade national tour is a festival of colour that will energise the host towns and cities it visits. It draws on the work of many established artists and well-known celebrities to create vibrant art creations on elephant statues, raising awareness and funds for elephant conservation.

Alex commented: "The Elephant Parade national tour will involve so many people across the UK and I’m pleased to be part of it.”
