Emma Slora Breene from Kent, UK, has won an international art competition by Elephant Parade and will have her design painted onto a one of the elephant statues for the Elephant Parade Bangkok later this year. Her prize also includes a VIP trip to Bangkok to see her design unveiled.
Yesterday the Founder and CEO of Elephant Parade, Mike Spits, participated in a press conference to announce the launch of the next Elephant Parade event in Brazil. The gathering of journalists and partners of the exposition was on Il Campanário Vilaggio Resort, at Jurerê International, Florianópolis (SC) – this will be the first city in Latin America to host the cultural exhibition.
Last night Barclays presented the Elephant Parade Grand Gala Auction, which saw a herd of 31 elephants auctioned off to raise funds for Asian elephant conservation.
This month, thousands of school children from around the UK will be creating art designs for the chance to win one of 70 places to join the world’s first ever Elephant Parade national tour which starts on 21 July.
Elephant Parade, the world’s largest public art exposition in aid of the Asian elephant, today announces its first ever visit to France. On 19 June 2015, Calais will host the first Elephant Parade of 2015, ahead of further groundbreaking expositions taking place in Brazil, China and Thailand.
