“An oasis of aesthetics and order”

Media personality, Hannah Graaf, has finally realized a dream and created her very own luxurious walk-in-closet, with plenty of room for her many beautiful things and dressy clothes.

A few years ago, Hannah moved from an enormous home in Spain to a smaller terraced house in Sweden. Her four children’s needs came first. And, far down the list of priorities came the storing of Hannah’s own clothes, shoes and bags.

“In our new home, I put my full focus on what was best for the kids. My own needs were less of a priority, so for example I had to squeeze all of my clothes into the wardrobe in my bedroom. Whatever didn’t fit was left in boxes and bags.”

Hannah had pictured a walk-in-closet with lots of hanger space, jewellery storage and nice ways of keeping and displaying shoes and bags. The challenge was that the designated space was quite small. However, with white Décor and a few tips from Elfa’s storage expert, Christine Dalman, this turned out to be perfectly possible.

"Like many others, Hannah thought a walk-in-closet wasn't possible given the small space available. Well, I would argue that most people actually do have enough space at home to design that long dreamt of walk-in-closet. Hannah's space is narrow and the floor area small, but with good planning, flexible solutions and smart details she got a really luxurious space for all her beautiful things and favorite shoes, bags and clothes."
