"There's always room for storage"
In the wake of the pandemic much has changed. Many have formed new habits and our homes have served as restaurant, gym, spa, office and school. All this has increased the need for good storage in our homes.
The past two years, many of us have centered our lives around the home. As a result, we have piled our homes with things, like monitors, desks and gym equipment. But how do we find space at home for storing all these new things and keep up the good new habits? Well, according to Elfa’s Storage expert Christine Dalman, we don't have to worry.
"I’d say there's always room for storage. With good planning, flexible solutions and smart details, I'm quite sure you will find room enough for all your new things and habits."

Even in rooms where you have challenges like pipes and radiators it’s possible to create your own built-in shelf for storage.

Use the backside of an inner door or create a storage behind a curtain. That way you get rid of the stuff, but can access them quickly when needed.

There is often valuable space to be recovered in tricky spaces. Using wallbands in different heights and shelves of different widths, you can use the space to the maximum. The shelving system is easy to customize to fit most wall surfaces. Why not turn the wall under your staircase into a bookshelf, working space or storage?

In unused spaces, for instance in corners next to a kitchen cabinet, you can have shelves all the way up to the ceiling.
