Press invitation: Welcome to Elmia Solar 2026 – the most important meeting place for the industry
From 3–5 February 2026, Elmia Solar is bringing together industry stakeholders for the third edition of Northern Europe’s leading meeting place for solar energy, energy storage, charging and installation. The exhibition is the natural arena for knowledge exchange, dialogue and business – at a time when the market is facing rapid change, tough decisions and an increasing demand for innovative solutions.
A united force for the industry’s future
In just three years, Elmia Solar has established itself as a central meeting place for stakeholders within solar energy, energy storage, charging and installation. With strong international participation and representatives from across the entire value chain – from technology suppliers and installers to energy companies, property owners and decision-makers – Elmia Solar 2026 is a natural arena to attend, deepen relationships and, not least, increase knowledge.
“At a time when the market is moving rapidly, and with many stakeholders experiencing uncertainty and postponed investments, the need for meeting places is more important than ever. Elmia Solar is a place where the industry comes together, with participants sharing knowledge and strengthening each other going forward,” says Elin Rickardsson, Exhibition Manager for Elmia Solar.
Stages, networking and knowledge sharing
Over the three days of the exhibition, visitors can take part in an extensive stage programme featuring industry insights, expert panels and discussions on future technologies and business models. This year, this is a strong focus on energy storage, where electric vehicle batteries (V2G) and smart control systems are creating flexibility, resilience and new opportunities to secure capacity in the power system.
Visitors will gain insights into technology, market developments and real-life applications – with the transfer of knowledge from actors such as Flower, CheckWatt, Aire and Senergia. These parties are able, from different perspectives, to demonstrate how battery solutions and energy services strengthen and stabilise a rapidly evolving energy system.
Programme highlights include
- KnowHow at Solar – expert presentations and in-depth discussions on key topics for industry development, with a clear focus on knowledge transfer. Four selected exhibitors and a panel discussion on the Blue Stage, Thursday 5 February.
- Connect at Solar – the networking hub where spontaneous meetings and pre-booked business meetings create tangible opportunities.
- Innovate at Solar – the arena for innovation and start-ups, where new technical solutions and visions meet the market.
