Empower and Koskienergia strengthen and expand co-operation regarding operation and maintenance in hydropower

Empower and Koskienergia, a company focused on carbon dioxide free hydro power production, have signed a service agreement covering the operation and maintenance services of each Koskienergia’s 29 hydroelectric power plants in Finland. With the agreement the two companies continue their long-lived co-operation as Empower continues to provide the operation and maintenance services to Koskienergia’s 22 hydroelectric power plants in addition to which Koskienergia selected Empower as the service provider for their 7 remaining hydroelectric power plants located in Finland along Mustio and Paimio rivers. The five-year service agreement starts January 1^st 2020.

We have a long history together and Empower thus knows our business well and has been able to develop services and their operations from our point of view and in customer centric manner. With the agreement Empower strengthens its’ role as operation and maintenance service provider within the energy production sector.
