Rab and the Jonathan Conville Memorial Trust announce new partnership
Outdoor brand Rab (owned by Equip Outdoor Technologies Ltd.) has announced a new partnership with the Jonathan Conville Memorial Trust (JCMT), a UK-based charity existing for over 40 years. The JCMT introduces young people to climbing and mountaineering, training them in the skills and techniques required to safely advance to Alpine or Scottish winter environments. This partnership, built on the shared aim of making mountains more accessible to the younger generation, will commence with the 2025 JCMT courses.
Neil McAdie, Chair of Trustees at the JCMT, welcomed the collaboration:

As the official clothing and equipment partner, Rab will support JCMT with appropriate kit for course delegates, pre-event course preparation, product education through webinars and increasing the accessibility of the brilliant courses hosted by the JCMT.

The Jonathan Conville Memorial Trust, founded following the death of mountaineer Jonathan Conville in 1979 has, over the past 44 years, provided more than 5,000 young people with subsidised places on introductory training courses in North Wales, the Alps, and Scotland.
