A new expression, the same direction – Erik Thun Group takes the next step

Erik Thun Group presents an updated visual identity and a new logo – a natural step in our continued development as a family-owned shipping company with a long-term perspective and responsibility at its core.

Since our founding, Erik Thun Group has grown through close partnerships, solid expertise, and a strong commitment to sustainable transport. Our new logo has been developed to better reflect who we are today – and where we are heading.

The new logo reflects our heritage and history, while marking an important step in the continued development of Erik Thun Group. Within its design lies a direction that has followed us for many years – a wind in our flag. It is not in a hurry, but it keeps its course.

There are also the waves that carry our vessels forward – a reflection of our daily operations, our reality, and our responsibility. Together, these elements express both continuity and movement, where past, present, and future meet.

The updated identity is clearer and more cohesive, while remaining firmly rooted in our heritage. It reflects our role as a reliable partner in European shipping and logistics, where we work closely with our customers and partners every day to deliver efficient and sustainable solutions.

The brand work has been carried out to create a clearer and more unified representation of Erik Thun Group – both internally and externally. The new visual identity will be gradually implemented across the entire organisation, from vessels and offices to digital channels and communications.

For our customers and partners, this change does not represent a shift in what we do – but a clearer expression of how we do it: with quality, responsibility, and a long-term perspective.

The new logo is presented as a reflection of Erik Thun Group’s continued development and long-term direction.

Founded in 1938 in Lidköping, Erik Thun Group is a third‑generation Swedish shipping company with a long‑term commitment to reliable, responsible and sustainable maritime transport. The Group operates around 50 vessels across dry cargo, product tanker and cement segments, serving short‑sea routes throughout Northern Europe.
