Tuesday, 23 February 2021: Global retail software company Extenda Retail will deliver its online solution Pharma Suite Online to the Norwegian full-scale pharmacy Apotera.no. The implementation project is starting in February 2021, and will enable Apotera.no to complete the sales of prescription drugs online.

Extenda Retail’s Pharma Suite Online allows pharmaceutical retailers to offer the same frictionless, omnichannel shopping experience that retailers in other sectors are able to share with customers, and most importantly to continue operating within a highly regulated compliance framework. From Apotera.no customers' perspective, they now have the option of purchasing prescription drugs on-line and minimising the time spent physically in the store.

Extenda Retail’s market-leading Pharmacy platform is built on expertise of both the pharmacy and retail domains, which enables a unique offer to forward-thinking pharmacy chains. The platform fulfills legal and patient data safety requirements, as well as GDPR. Ultimately the project will also allow Apotera.no to expand their offering to the wider population and create a true omnichannel offer and shopping journey.
