Bringing together two icons of German craftsmanship, this partnership celebrates the ideas that emerge when exploring the world.
Founded in 1761 and celebrating its 265thanniversary, Faber-Castell is a ninth-generation family-owned German brand whose expertise in writing and drawing instruments has inspired artists for generations. Engineered to accompany a lifetime of creative pursuits, the RIMOWA x Faber-Castell Artist Case in Silver is a limited-edition piece designed to empower its owners to create whenever inspiration strikes.
Crafted in RIMOWA’s historic Cologne factory from the Maison’s premium anodised aluminium, the Artist Case blends functional design with meticulous craftsmanship.
Inside, the case features a complete set of drawing instruments, made in Germany, spanning the creative process from initial sketch to finished colour work. Intended for the earliest stages of ideation and composition, the Artist Case includes a set of co-branded, grooved 2B graphite pencils, inspired by RIMOWA's signature design. Central to the set are 120 Polychromos colour pencils, prized for their rich pigment concentration and oil-based cores, which ensure smooth, consistent application and colours that remain vibrant and stable. Thoughtful details further elevate the experience, including a specially developed two-level tray system that opens to reveal the contents in a custom display while keeping every tool organised and within reach. Completing the collection are a RIMOWA branded, platinum-plated sharpener and eraser.
Echoing the design codes of RIMOWA’s Classic collection, the Artist Case pairs the signature leather handle for effortless carrying with the range’s anodised aluminium, a material celebrated for its inherent nature to develop a beautiful patina over time, gradually becoming an extension of its owner's creative spirit.

The RIMOWA x Faber-Castell Artist Case in Silver (RRP 2400€) is backed by a two-year guarantee and will be available from September 17, 2026, in RIMOWA stores worldwide and online at RIMOWA.com, as well as in Faber-Castell retail stores in Germany and via their online stores in Austria, France, Germany, and Italy.
