Fagerhult launches cookbook with recipes for the right lighting

The cookbook presents how to best illuminate various areas of a shop like aisles and shelves, but also how to illuminate products such as bread, vegetables, meat and fish in the most tasteful way.

When illuminating different areas in a shop you meet different challenges. Food retailers have always looked for the best possible way to display their products with the correct lighting. Products like fish, seafood and meat have historically been difficult to illuminate since they have different colour tones, blue and red, and therefore need different colour rendering in the illuminating light source.

Marathon Rich is a product that is developed to do this really well and is highly suitable for a deli where there is a mix of food with both blue and red colours. Marathon Glow gives bread and tomatoes a warm colour.

Naturally, food recipes are presented to give the right inspiration. Swedish chef Christian Andersson presents some favourite recipes connected to the different products.

The cookbook is full of lighting design tips for food stores, interesting product news and tasteful recipes.
