Fagerhult’s Henrik Clausen at the Climate Week in Jönköping

On Monday, March 19th , Henrik Clausen hosted a seminar at the Climate Week in Jönköping, Sweden. The Climate Week is an annual convention organised by Jönköping County with the purpose of sharing knowledge and creating border-crossing networks in order to meet the challenges of climate change.

The convention was opened by Lena Ek, the Swedish Minister for the Environment, at the Elmia Congress Centre in Jönköping. Henrik Clausen hosted a seminar where he presented solutions on how to cut energy consumption by using the latest lighting technology. He showed the audience how we can achieve energy savings with simple measures in schools, offices and hospitals – in short, all public buildings. Reference projects shows that by using lighting control with daylight control and presence detection it is possible to lower energy consumption by 50 %.
