The square root of lit lines - Notor 36

The classic Fagerhult Notor family has just received an addition. The minimalistic Notor 36, with a square profile in Scandinavian design style, is an obvious choice when you want to accentuate architecture - without compromising with the light comfort.

The first time Notor saw the light of day was in 2001. The innovative solution enabled long lines of light for office spaces. Since then, the family has grown and developed – but always with the unbroken line at it's centre. This year, we welcome Notor 36 into the family. A full square, measuring 36x36 mm with an integrated driver, it is one of Fagerhult's neatest lighting solutions so far.

– This is a brand new luminaire design, says Håkan Sehler Product and Application Manager at Fagerhults Belysning. We started off in the latest lighting technology and through innovative constructions with an integrated driver, we have succeeded in reducing the volume of the luminaire remarkably.

Notor 36 meets the demands of a subtle luminaire that does not dominate the room. It blends into the background and enables you to create both symmetry and creative patterns. Notor 36 is small and stylish without compromising on functionality and lighting effect. Two louvre options enables two different looks; Opal for balanced glare control and a discreet, evenly bright surface. Beta Opti Nano for high efficiency and superior light comfort without causing multiple shadows.

– For those who think that contemporary luminaire systems are too voluminous in areas with a lower ceiling or limited space – for example offices, conference rooms or corridors – Notor 36 is an obvious choice, states Håkan Sehler. It cannot solve all your issues, due to its size, but together with the rest of the Notor family it creates a well composed aesthetics, regarding different lighting needs.
