Falck Healthcare strengthens services in Sweden
Falck Healthcare strengthens its services to Swedish corporate customers wishing to improve the health and working conditions of their employees. This is done through the acquisition of Manpower Hälsopartner by Previa, a Falck Healthcare subsidiary in Sweden.
"We see companies paying more attention to the wellbeing of their employees. For many companies, the employees are the key competitive parameter, and with the public welfare system under strong pressure, strong private players that can contribute to sustainable working life are becoming necessary. Our acquisition of Manpower Hälsopartner should be seen in that context," said Jan Steenhard, the CEO of Falck Healthcare.
Manpower Hälsopartner provides a number of healthcare services throughout Sweden, especially to industrial companies, and has 160 employees.
In the summer of 2014, Falck Healthcare merged with the healthcare companies of TryghedsGruppen, including Swedish-based Previa, to create the leading Scandinavian provider of services that improve the working environment, reduce sickness absence and make rehabilitation after illness more accessible.
The acquisition of Manpower Hälsopartner is subject to approval by the Swedish competition authorities.
