    Merger of Vitesco Technologies Group AG into Schaeffler AG successfully completed

    Today, 1 October, Schaeffler has successfully completed the merger with Vitesco, that was announced almost a year ago. At the same time, the conversion of Schaeffler’s non-voting common shares into common shares with full voting rights was completed. With that, Schaeffler has successfully completed the transaction with Vitesco – as announced – in the fourth quarter of 2024.

    Schaeffler reports strong third quarter despite challenging market conditions

    Schaeffler AG published its results for the first nine months of 2023. The Schaeffler Group’s revenue for the reporting period amounted to 12,270 million euros (prior year: 11,790 million euros). The 6.6 percent constant-currency increase in revenue compared to the prior-year period was especially attributable to higher volumes at all divisions.

    Schaeffler and H2 Green Steel intensify cooperation

    Schaeffler, the motion technology company, and Swedish startup H2 Green Steel have decided to intensify their already close partnership. The two companies made the decision in the course of a recent equity funding round, in which Schaeffler agreed to invest a further 65 million euros, a significant increase that takes its total stake to 100 million euros.

    Schaeffler Group closes 2022 with solid earnings

    Schaeffler presented its results for 2022 today. The Schaeffler Group’s revenue for the reporting period amounted to 15.8 billion euros (prior year: 13.9 billion euros). At constant currency, revenue was up 9.4 percent, exceeding the guidance. The year was characterized by considerable revenue growth, which was largely attributable to an increase in volume in Automotive and Industrial divisions.

    Christian Zeidlhack appointed as Schaeffler’s new President Industrial Europe

    The global automotive and industrial supplier Schaeffler has appointed Christian Zeidlhack as the new President of its industrial business in Europe and CEO of its Central and Eastern Europe subregion. In his new role, Christian Zeidlhack is in charge of the Industrial division’s direct-customer and sales-partner business for the whole of Europe.
