Sentimental Value Wins BAFTA for Best Film Not in the English Language

The BAFTA Film Awards are presented by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts and are widely regarded as the British equivalent of the Oscars. Joachim Trier’s Sentimental Value was nominated in eight categories at the 2026 BAFTA Film Awards in London last night, where it won the award for Best Film Not in the English Language.
