Fjällräven´s AKKA VIEW tent - “UK Product of the Year 2012

Fjällräven’s new tent Akka View won both  “Best New Tent” and  “Product of the Year” in the prestigious OTS 2012 Novel Awards at the Outdoor Trade Show in the UK. 

After being inspected by a panel of industry experts in the United Kingdom, Fjällräven’s new innovative Akka View Tent won both “Best New Tent” and overall “Product of the Year”. The expert group commented: “The self-supporting tent features an innovative panoramic construction with an extra-large door on each side which can be fully rolled back to expose a 360° view of the outside world from the comfort of the tent.” 

OTS Organiser, Marta Williams, continued: “This year, we received 20% more entries than we did for the 2011 Novel Awards and the standard of all entries was incredibly high. We are delighted that the seven winning products have been recognised by the judges for their innovation, and can now be officially promoted as OTS Novel Award Winners.”
