Located in Lappeenranta, Finland, Flowrox - a worldwide flow control and pumping provider – expands its activities and has opened an office in China. In the beginning the Shanghai office employs three people and it is situated in Finnish-Chinese Technology Center “Finchi”,

 “We have been present in China through representatives for many years now”, says the CEO of Flowrox Group Mr. Heikki Hyttinen. – However, China is an enormous and rapidly growing market and to be able to serve the customers with the same high standards as we do in Europe, we see it essential to be locally present with an office of our own.”

“The best way to enter Chinese market is to take time and use local expertise”, says Hyttinen. “This is why we ended up to utilize “Finchi” services. We will develop our activities in China from the customer point of view” emphasizes.  

Headquarted in Lappeenranta, Finland Flowrox Group has subsidiaries in Linthicum (Maryland USA), Sydney (Australia) and in Johannesburg (South Africa). In addition, the company has offices in Moscow, Bahrain and Mexico.

“Flowrox Inc. in Maryland has worked efficiently and productively for many years”, says Hyttinen. “Also newer subsidiaries in Australia and South Africa have proven to be on good track. Southern hemisphere is rich with mines and remarkable part of our turnover comes from mining and metallurgy.”

In the future Flowrox will expand its presence not only geographically but also in customer segments. “Energy, construction and environment industries are growing fast and we are already developing new solutions and equipment for these branches”, says Hyttinen.
