GBMM starts cooperation with Hungarian Klasszik Radio

BUDAPEST, HUNGARY – On the 15th of December 2010, Global Broadcasting Media Management (GBMM) and Budapest-based Klasszik Radio 92.1 launched a partnership that would bring Chinese culture to Hungary’s airwaves.

Ten hours of daily afternoon programs will give Hungary a glimpse of traditional and contemporary Asian cultures, with a focus on China. News from the Asia-Pacific region as well as information on current trends in Chinese economy, politics and society complement the station’s classical radio programming.

“Klasszik Radio will keep its classical music station profile, and the newly introduced programmes, such as the Chinese music and Asian culture blocks will definitely enrich Hungary's media scenery and widen the palette so that our audience opened for new cultures can experience something truly unique,” commented Tamás Nagy general manager of Klasszik Radio.

The launch was also attended by Wang Gengnian, Director-General of China Radio International, and Liang Cai Dea, China's ambassador to Hungary.
