NEW PRODUCT! New chromatography resins - launched 19th March 2013

Capto™ adhere ImpRes and Capto MMC ImpRes are highly-selective multimodal chromatography resins that enable high-resolution polishing of monoclonal antibodies (MAb) from the process development stage through to large-scale production.

Both resins utilize multiple types of interactions to offer significant advantages over traditional ion exchange resins, and the small bead size of the matrix gives excellent pressure/flow properties. The combination of high selectivity in binding and high resolution means greater load densities, smaller elution pool volume and improved impurity removal.  Improved process economy is achieved through higher yields, reduced buffer consumption and the use of smaller columns and buffer tanks.

The small, high-resolution agarose beads coupled with selective multimodal ligands efficiently remove aggregates, viruses, host cell proteins and other contaminants in the MAb process, whilst retaining a high yield of MAb.

Capto MMC ImpRes uses a weak cation exchange ligand, effective in a broad pH/salt operational window, and is designed for use in the polishing step in MAb and domain antibody (DAb) purification. 

Capto adhere ImpRes contains a strong anion exchange ligand for MAb polishing, and MAb charge variant separation, and is ideal for use after the initial capture step in either a two- or three-step purification.
