In the framework of 2D-EPL project, several multi-purpose wafer (MPW) runs are provided where universities, research institutes and companies can include their designs as dies on joint wafers. The first run is mainly intended for graphene sensors and will be offered by AMO GmbH. This document outlines the full specifications for this wafer run.

On Thursday 4 February 2021, the Graphene Flagship will host an exclusive online event to unveil all the details of the project and explain how the 2D Experimental Pilot line (2D-EPL) will accelerate the production of graphene-enabled products. The event will take place at 3pm CET, and before that the Graphene Flagship will host a dedicated briefing for Press and Media at 1.30pm CET.

Graphene Flagship sails into Horizon Europe

Bringing together 118 academic and industrial partners in 12 research and innovation projects and 1 coordination and support project, the Graphene Flagship initiative will continue to advance Europe’s strategic autonomy in technologies that rely on graphene and other 2D materials. The initiative, which builds on the previous 10-years of the Graphene Flagship, is funded by the European Commission’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme. The 2D-Experimental Pilot Line, addressing the challenges of upscaling 2D material production processes for the semiconductor industry, is another key component of the Graphene Flagship ecosystem.
