Most energy contractors design a system, install it, and hand it over. Once it's built, the performance risk sits with whoever owns the building. Greenman Energy works differently. We don't just design and install, we operate what we build, starting with our own assets.

Built on our own portfolio first

Greenman Energy designs, builds and operates PV and EV charging infrastructure, and advises on energy cost management, dynamic pricing and power purchase agreements. Before any of that was offered externally, it was built and run on the Greenman Group's own grocery-anchored real estate across Germany, Poland and France.

That changes what kind of advice we're able to give. A consultant can model a PV system's expected output. We can tell a client what a similar system has actually delivered, because we've operated one ourselves, under real weather, real usage patterns and real maintenance schedules. Not a projection.

Two ways we work with clients

We act as an EPC contractor, designing and building PV and EV infrastructure for clients who want the asset but not the ongoing operational relationship. We also act as a long-term service provider, for owners who want the system operated and maintained by the same team that built it. Both routes come from the same underlying capability, shaped by having run this infrastructure on our own portfolio first.

We already work with several leading grocery retailers across Europe, advising on energy strategy and delivering charging and generation infrastructure on their sites.

What this looks like at Expo Real

At our stand, we'll be showing real project data from our own PV and EV installations, alongside how that data connects to what edyfi measures on the same buildings. Energy generation, energy usage and building performance, read from the same system instead of three separate reports.

That's what "For an Interconnected World" means from where we sit. The energy infrastructure isn't a separate line item bolted onto a real estate asset, it's part of how the asset performs, and we can show you the evidence because we've measured it on our own buildings first.
