Press release -
Guardsix recruits top global tech executive to lead European cybersecurity offensive
In an era defined by geopolitical tensions and tightened regulations, the protection of critical digital infrastructure is more vital than ever. Simultaneously, the focus on European digital sovereignty has reached a historic peak, necessitating trusted security solutions that grant organisations full control over their data and digital foundations.
Against this backdrop, Guardsix has hired Annbritt Andersen as Global Chief Revenue Officer. She will be responsible for gearing the organisation for significant scaling across Europe.
She brings extensive international experience from the peak of the technology industry, having led commercial organisations spanning more than 100 countries.
“We are in a geopolitical era where digital infrastructure and cybersecurity have become central to both economic resilience and national security. Cybersecurity is no longer just a technological issue; it is a strategic leadership responsibility and a prerequisite for both society and businesses to operate safely in a digital world,” says Annbritt Andersen.
At Guardsix, she will spearhead the global commercial strategy, focusing specifically on sectors and markets where digital sovereignty and cyber resilience are mission-critical.
Challenging the dominance of global tech giants
For Guardsix, growth is not a goal in itself, but a means to create societal impact. By providing a locally anchored alternative to global platforms, the company aims to strengthen European technological competencies, create jobs, and enhance security for both public institutions and private enterprises.
The recent rebranding from Logpoint to Guardsix underscores this commitment:
“Europe must be able to stand on its own feet and become less dependent on major global players. We will scale through strong partnerships and leverage our momentum to assist even more critical infrastructure organisations across Europe. Annbritt possesses the drive and experience required to challenge the market's largest players. Cybersecurity is never created by technology alone – it is created by people, and Annbritt leads with courage, hope, and passion in a way that will leave a lasting mark on both Guardsix and our customers,” says Mikkel Drucker, CEO in Guardsix.
Mission-critical and society-critical cybersecurity
Annbritt Andersen looks forward to utilising her global expertise to build a strong European counterweight:
“European organisations are increasingly demanding locally rooted security solutions, driven by regulations like NIS2 and a growing wish for digital sovereignty. Having spent many years in the global ecosystem with some of the largest US tech brands, I am excited to apply that experience to strengthen European capabilities in a field that has become both mission- and society-critical. Companies like Guardsix are exactly what the market needs. They possess a strong culture and a unique product that integrates security directly into the customer’s own infrastructure, ensuring full control over data and systems.”
Annbritt Andersen stepped into her role as Global Chief Revenue Officer on April 1, 2026.
