Logpoint becomes guardsix as Europe reassesses sovereign security operations
Copenhagen, Denmark, March 12th 2026
Logpoint today announces its rebrand to guardsix, reflecting a deliberate shift toward deeper alignment with regional Managed Security Service Providers MSSPs and regulated organisations navigating growing regulatory demands and geopolitical uncertainty. More than a new name, guardsix represents a strengthened commitment to delivering sovereign security operations technology paired with hands-on expertise, enabling lean teams to scale detection, maintain control, and operate with predictable confidence.
The new name reflects the company’s commitment to standing side by side with organisations as their closest ally in cybersecurity.
“Cybersecurity is never just about software,” says Mikkel Drucker, CEO. “It’s about the people carrying the responsibility when systems fail, regulators call, or attacks hit at 2 a.m. guardsix reflects who we are and who we stand with; The lean security teams and MSSPs who protect essential services. We combine sovereign technology with real partnership, so they are never facing that pressure alone.”
The name combines “guard,” reflecting the defenders who safeguard society’s essential services, with “six,” drawn from the aviation phrase “got your six,” meaning “I’ve got your back.” Together, it expresses the company’s role as a close ally, standing beside the teams who carry the responsibility.
As regulatory demands intensify under e.g. NIS2, and European organisations reassess vendor concentration and jurisdictional risk, guardsix is strengthening its focus on:
- Sovereign data control aligned with European regulatory frameworks
- Compliance-ready capabilities that reduce operational burden
- Predictable licensing models that support long-term planning
- Scalable systems built specifically for MSSPs and critical infrastructure operators
guardsix represents a European alternative in security operations combining sovereign control, and predictable economics.
The rebrand does not change the company’s products, contractual commitments, or support services. Customers will continue on the same platform, service levels, and partnerships without interruption.
