Everything starts with a dream, even powerful solutions for our future world. Therefore, the mission of Dream for Earth is to collect all the creative, imaginative, and outside-the-box dreams people can think of. Small and big, local and global, old and new – we want and need them all to be part of Dream for Earth.

In collaboration with the United Nations at Expo 2020, and with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) as our guiding star, the Hack for Earth Foundation is inviting the citizens of the world share their dreams for our future. For the first time ever, all citizens around the globe are invited to share their dream for our future world, connected to the SDG’s. All dreams will be shared using video or text, at www.dreamforearth.com

Our Dream for Earth ambassadors

The digital, global campaign will be lead by the Dream for Earth Ambassadors – leaders from businesses and organisations in the Hack for Earth partner community along with global thought leaders and role models. Among our ambassadors are representatives from the United Nations, Nordic Innovation, the Swedish Pavilion at Expo2020 and many more. We believe in diversity, and this applies to our ambassadors too.

Shaping the Hack for Earth hackathon

All dreams shared in Dream for Earth will be clustered and analyzed, in order to find out what the citizens of the world believe are the most pressing challenges for our world today. When we know what the world is dreaming about the most, the Hack for Earth Foundation will together with our partner organisations create a solid foundation for the challenges in the Hack for Earth hackathon. The Hack for Earth hackathon at the world exhibition Expo2020 in Dubai, is opening on October 22nd. Hack for Earth is a global online hackathon, inviting all who want to be part of creating the solutions we need for our future world.

Scaling up & going global

In the spring of 2019 the Dream for Sweden campaign gathered thousands of dreams from the Swedish citizens. Now, Dream for Earth is scaling this proven concept to a global level.

Exhibition at Expo2020 Swedish Pavilion in Dubai

All dreams shared at dreamforearth.com will be exhibited in the Swedish Pavilion at the World Expo2020 in Dubai. Using screens and other interactive tools visitors can watch the dreams from the citizens of the world and share their own, just like on the website dreamforearth.com
