    Haglöfs has signed British adventurer Alastair Humphreys as a new Haglöfs Friend. Alastair’s’ adventures have taken him all over the world and in 2012 Alastair was named a National Geographic Adventurer of the Year for his pioneering concept "microadventure".

    Haglöfs has signed Finnish freeride snowboarder Antti Autti as a new Haglöfs Friend. Antti is one of the world’s best-known snowboarders, famous for setting new standards in men’s halfpipe competitions and originator of the “1080 Revolution”. Today, Antti Autti is also an appreciated snowboard film producer.

    HAGLÖFS STOPS SELLING BOOT AFTER GREENPEACE REPORT

    Haglöfs withdraws its hiking boot Grym from the stores based on the background that Greenpeace, in a review of outdoor products, found high levels of the fluorocarbon PFOA in the boot. Fluorocarbons is a group of chemicals that are used to make products water and dirt repellent. The concentration of the fluorocarbon PFOA was higher than the allowed limits in Norway.
