Customer service center opened in Fosnavåg

Havila Voyages opened a brand new customer service center at the head office in Fosnavåg on Wednesday 23 March.

Havila Voyages is a shipping company in start-up and will sail the classic coastal route Bergen - Kirkenes with 4 new and environmentally friendly ships by the end of 2022, in one of the largest tourism investments in Norway in a long time. By now, the company’s first ship, Havila Capella, is in operation. The next ship, Havila Castor, is scheduled to start sailing from Bergen on 10 May.

This week a brand new customer service center opened, and is located at the head office in Fosnavåg, with 10 newly hired customer consultants.

- We are very happy to have our own customer service center in place, which will take care of our guests who will be on board our beautiful and new ships. It is also gratifying that we are locating the customer center locally here in Fosnavåg, and thus contributing to local jobs, says Frode Hammerseth, head of the new customer service center for Havila Voyages.

- This also contributes to close ties with the rest of the organization, and our customer consultants look forward to being part of this adventurous journey with Havila Voyages, and have shown great motivation and enthusiasm to start with what lies ahead.

The customer center must handle inquiries from all over the world.

- We have already seen that we have a significant proportion of international travelers, who want to experience Norway with the newest, most modern and environmentally friendly ships sailing along the Norwegian coast. When we get more ships in operation, we see that we will have even more international guests and our customer service center will serve guest speaking Norwegian, German and English, Hammerseth concludes.

Initially, the customer service center for the Havila Voyages will be open from 09:00 to 17:00 CET, Monday to Friday. Longer opening hours on weekdays and possibly on Saturdays will be considered as new ships are put into operation.
