Tommy Ford races seamlessly into continuing the successes of last season. The US athlete bagged a place on the podium in the second Giant Slalom in Santa Caterina on Monday with a new model of ski, finishing second behind Marco Odermatt from Switzerland. For Ford it was the third World Cup podium finish in his career.
After 26 years, the Alpine Ski World Cup returns to Vorarlberg, the home of HEAD. And the HEAD World Cup Rebels celebrate the return in style - victory for Alexis Pinturault and two third places for Alexander Schmid and Lara Gut-Behrami in the Parallel races in Lech/Zürs.

We sent two of our talented Freeski athletes, Sam Kuch and Baker Boyd to Rusutsu Resort in Hokkaido Japan to explore the deep powder and magical trees.
As is tradition, the new season of the Alpine Ski World Cup opens on the 17th and 18th of October with the men's and women's Giant Slalom events in Sölden. Due to Corona, however, it will be an exceptional winter. A total of 39 men's and 35 women's events are scheduled, headlined by the World Championship in Cortina d'Ampezzo in February.

A prominent new addition to the HEAD Alpine World Cup Team: Vincent Kriechmayr, winner of two medals at the World Championships in Aare, joins the HEAD World Cup Rebels. The 28-year-old athlete from Upper Austria has signed a contract until 2022.
